We are 2 months away from the release of Assassin’s Creed, the newest film that everyone is expecting will ultimately break the video gaming movie adaptation problem. A new featurette for the movie has came, presenting the film’s focus on practical effects and live stunts and Michael Fassbender stunt enhances doing parkour across ancient places.
This is actually the 2nd Assassin’s Creed featurette to be designed around the movie’s in-camera stunts and results. The 1st one, targeted on the shooting of a 125-foot “leap of faith,” a recreation of the games series’ most famous game play feature. This new film is more general, presenting Fassbender and director Justin Kurzel referring to their wish accept real stunts over digital effects. This is affected a little bit by the latest movie trailer being candy-coated in CGI gloss, but hey, this featurette does feature a stunt person leaping through the air and landing on an outstretched wire, so cheers to all engaged.
Assassin’s Creed is the big wild card of the fall film season, the big studio launch that I genuinely don’t even know how to speak about at this point. On one level, Fassbender & film director Kurzel joining up for a sci-fi experience following their very good Macbeth is a reason to get thrilled.
