20th Century Fox has came out two new clips from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed film, presenting Michael Fassbender meeting the other inhabitants of Abstergo and another in which he takes the game’s signature leap of faith. Watch them below!

Through an excellent technology that opens his inherited remembrances, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) encounters the activities of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum finds he is descended from a unknown secret community, the Assassins, and amasses amazing knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and highly effective Templar organization in the present day.

Assassin’s Creed stars Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard. The movie is directed by Justin Kurzel; produced by New Regency, Ubisoft Motion Pictures, DMC Films and Kennedy/Marshall; co-financed by RatPac Entertainment and Alpha Pictures; and distributed by 20th Century Fox.

Watch New ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Featurette Reveals Practical Stunts and Ancient Cities

Assassin’s Creed Streaming Online

We are 2 months away from the release of Assassin’s Creed, the newest film that everyone is expecting will ultimately break the video gaming movie adaptation problem. A new featurette for the movie has came, presenting the film’s focus on practical effects and live stunts and Michael Fassbender stunt enhances doing parkour across ancient places.

This is actually the 2nd Assassin’s Creed featurette to be designed around the movie’s in-camera stunts and results. The 1st one, targeted on the shooting of a 125-foot “leap of faith,” a recreation of the games series’ most famous game play feature. This new film is more general, presenting Fassbender and director Justin Kurzel referring to their wish accept real stunts over digital effects. This is affected a little bit by the latest movie trailer being candy-coated in CGI gloss, but hey, this featurette does feature a stunt person leaping through the air and landing on an outstretched wire, so cheers to all engaged.

Assassin’s Creed is the big wild card of the fall film season, the big studio launch that I genuinely don’t even know how to speak about at this point. On one level, Fassbender & film director Kurzel joining up for a sci-fi experience following their very good Macbeth is a reason to get thrilled.

In one shot, he’s riding an armor-wearing horse while gritting his tooth. In another, we see a pained-looking Aguilar illustrating back a bow, his dirty finger nails clutching at the sequence.

Assassin’s Creed is directed by Justin Kurzel, & celebrities Fassbender as Aguilar and Callum Lynch, as well as Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson, & Michael Kenneth Williams.

In a latest interview with Collider, Fassbender talked about the need to strike a stability between being trustworthy to the game & providing viewers something new. “We really want to regard the game and the components to it, but we also desired to come up with our own factor,” he said. “And a very important factor I’ve kind of discovered from doing the franchises like X-Men is that viewers, I think, want to be surprised and to see new components of what they already know, and different takes on it.

“Like I said, we’re really improving the very primary components of the game, but we wished to bring something new to it as well, so that’s why we have these new main figures.”

Assassin’s Creed (2016) movie strikes cinemas on Dec 21, 2016.
